The local telephone man

Ben Myburgh is a humble well-mannered chap. I often see him training at the local gym. He is well-built and “sticks out”.

But Ben’s photography is far more in your face.

He is forever displaying images of  lovely landscapes, interesting portraits or beautiful bodies on Facebook and other sites.

Ben, I hear, works for a telephone company and so this begs the question: Telephone man or Hot shot photographer?

The latter for sure!

Tonight I saw that he had recently won a competition on Pixoto.

His winning image is shown below.

It seems that if he is not shooting “gym bodies” then he is often at the seaside.

Umhlanga lighthouse I would guess

Westville Camera Club outing with local fire department

And finally to end off: in the mountains

Dmitrii’s got a Nikon that is smoking hot!

I really got excited to discover that it was all good for me to share Dmitrii’s beautiful images as long as I draw your attention directly to his website right here and for good measure; his gallery right over here.

These two images of his really caught my eye:

The Ghost house by Allan

My dear friend Allan Maclean ambled over to the Ghost House at Westbrook Beach, South Africa and took some lovely photographs (one shown below).

Now I am sure he visited Beach Bums Restaurant which is next door.

We recently had a work event there; and I will post some related photographs in due course.

But for now, click right here to view Allan’s other photographs.

the Walk & Talk strikes it hot at Richmond Night Market

Another super hot write-up by the Walk & Talk.

Information and beautiful pictures about being in Hong Kong but not having to pay to fly there.

Similar to “being in India” whilst at the Bangledesh Market in Chatsworth Durban South Africa.

Now back to business. Here is an image I found of Octopus Takoyaki:

Now that I have your attention; click right here to see why I say the Walk & Talk strikes it hot at Richmond Night Market!

The Best of India 2009

Whilst this is essentially a “travel” post, I have also included it under “photography” as the photographs below (all taken by me during my first trip to India in December 2009) were picked out by a friend of mine (Ben).

Ben, an accomplished photographer, kindly spiced up their colour and contrast on my behalf.

Visit his site right here to see some of his stunning work. I keep telling him that he should pursue his hot passion and talent on a full time basis! (yes, he is only part-time for now).

I used a Canon PowerShot S5 IS, that has since been replaced by a Canon 550D, both of which are only used on “auto”.

Here is “The Best of India 2009” in three photographs:
