Powerful Yoga

“A strong faith meets sorrow with strength, suffering with fortitude, disappointment with optimism, loss with cheerfulness, and failure with perseverance. True, strong faith turns all situations into opportunities for progressing Godward. In it there is no such thing as failure, no such thing as disappointment” ~ Sri Swami Sivananda

POST ON BLOG (Large)

“I do hope you are remembering lately that those challenges, self-doubts, and insecurities you have, everyone has. And that by design, you are greater than whatever scares you. And that for your ancient, supernatural lineage, you will prevail, triumph, and rise above them, just like you always have. And that those dreams you have are actually peeks at future versions of your life that will all but inevitably be reached, unless you change your mind. And that your friends, known and to be known, chose this lifetime, in part, because you’d be here” ~ Mike Dooley

Serenity

“If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough” ~ Meister Eckhart

I first called this photo “Peace” but after looking yet again saw “Serenity”. The young lady is seated completely still and trusting upon her partner’s heels. He is lying with his back on the sand with both legs extended upwards at 90 degrees. No falling, no fear, no panic.. trust.

The waves crash moderately behind her while the sun slowly rises.. serenity.

In the words of Thich Nhat Hanh: “Every breath we take, every step we make, can be filled with peace, joy and serenity”

“Most of us are in touch with our intuition whether we know it or not, but we’re usually in the habit of doubting or contradicting it so automatically that we don’t even know it has spoken.” – Shakti Gawain
