This photo was taken on our way to Everglades as the weather was slowly clearing. It had been snowing not far away in the Drakensberg. It was really cold for us Durban folk with a stiff breeze at 8 degrees C.
However, we discovered Il Postino Pizzeria late that afternoon and got warmed up there – log fire, rugby, pizza and Old Brown Sherry.
The kind owner said I shouldn’t tell his wife that he gave us a few extra tots of Old Brown but hey – who cannot advertise hospitality like that!
All of this is only 1 hr 45 min from Durban.

What a stunning sight!
Thank you; we just loved driving in the area
