“Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are” – Malcolm S. Forbes
It was Shad (Elf – fish) fever down at Umgeni River Mouth yesterday morning (this morning 10-08-2015) I guess too). I wasn’t sure where to go shoot at 05:30 and then thought that I hadn’t shot this location a lot so off to Umgeni it was. There were no clouds until just after sunrise when S-Westerly I think started pumping and made it a little interesting (just in the nick of time). This photowas taken before sunrise and was an angle I have more or less shot twice before. I neglected to turn IS (image stabilizer) off and upon getting home soon discovered why this is important when bracketing on a tripod. In hindsight I think I would have been happier at F11 & ISO 100 or 50.

Beautiful composition with some brilliant use of light 🙂
