It was an afternoon like today, pleasant weather, not so long ago, that I crouched on my haunches on a sandbank watching the QM2 hug the wharf. The sun was dropping slowly and people were gathering to watch the ship leave later that evening. I’m glad I went down to the harbour. The small waves were lapping my camera tripod and my formal work shoes & pants were getting wet / full of mud! lol.
